Water Tower

The next step is to construct the ring beam on top of the concrete column. These sections will be welded together on top of the column and filled with concrete and re-enforcing steel. This makes a strong beam that evenly distributes the weight of the tank and the water around the entire column.

A concrete dome is poured on top of the column. This dome is over 1 foot thick and almost 50 feet across. The shape of the dome will transfer the weight of the water out towards the walls of the tower.
